Used Oil Filters are picked up and shipped from many regions in the United States. All filters are transported to NRI's facility where they are processed. Upon completion of our recycling process there are three products that remain from the used oil filters - Oil, Steel, and Carbon Residue.

The used oil is shipped to Quaker State Oil's Specialty Environmental Services division where it is re-processed into many useful products before being reused by the public.

The steel that is left from the filters are shipped to Chaparral Steel where it is melted down and reused.

The Carbon Residue is shipped to Texas-New Mexico Power & Light where it is used as fuel to help power one of their many power plants.
