The Virtual Domain option includes:

	We will register the domain with InterNIC for you automatically. We do not register domains directly with other NICs; in those cases, we will configure our systems and supply you with the necessary nameserver and contact information to complete the registration yourself.
	All mail addressed to your domain, regardless of the username, will come to your account's mailbox. This means that you can use webmaster@yourname.com, info@yourname.com, sales@yourname.com, and whatever else you like, without having to worry about extra charges or conflicts with other accounts on the system. If you want separate POP mailboxes for such addresses to be delivered to (for separate retrieval with a unique password), the charge is $1.50/month for each mailbox.
	Mailing lists may be run (using SmartList) with your domain name as their delivery address. For example, you can manage a mailing list named announce-list@yourname.com.
	Virtual FTP, which allows access to your files at ftp://ftp.yourname.com/, will be enabled at your request, at no extra charge.

Note that for new domains under the authority of InterNIC (.com and .org are the most commonly used), you will be billed separately for $100 maintenance by InterNIC. They levy this charge to cover the first two years of root nameservice and administration of your domain at their level. The $29.95 charge is payable to us for configuring your domain and allocating an IP address. The monthly charge is added on to your regular account fee. Please do not send us the InterNIC fee - we will send it back to you if you do. It is in your best interest to let InterNIC bill you at their convenience.

We can also transfer existing domains to be used as Virtual Domains, in which case the $100 InterNIC fee does not apply. Also, Vanity Domains and some country domains do not incur any fees from a NIC authority. Note, however, that the use of a country domain invariably requires that you have some presence or point of contact in that country.

You may search for available domains by using WHOIS at InterNIC. Please note that you will have trouble registering a .net domain name; InterNIC typically sends this response to such registrations. More recently, InterNIC is also questioning many .org registrations; this is the typical response. However, unlike .net, .org domains are still suitable for Web site hosting, within the guidelines InterNIC specifies. Finally, you will probably have difficulty with .us registrations for this reason, taken from the .us domain overview.

Note: InterNIC will bill you $50/year after the first two years.

We do support domain name registration in many other countries, provided that you are located in the country for which you wish to register. Each country's NIC has different regulations, pricing, turnaround time, and procedures, so it is impossible to promise the same prompt registration that we usually get from InterNIC. We will supply you with contact information for the appropriate NIC in your country.

Vanity Domain

Additional Disk Quota

Please specify the bandwidth you require when you sign up, and we will adjust your account and rates accordingly. Alternatively, you may wish to judge your bandwidth requirements from your logs and summaries once you get your site running.
